This Week in Colors...

I realize this hasn't been much of a week for posts here, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate an awesome compilation of colors anyhow!

Cuff Me Up!

Yeah, that sounds a bit kinky, but I assure you it's not intentional. I'm simply too enamored with this wrist cuff, made from a recycled leather belt, to censor myself. It makes sense too, that something so sensationally devised from a used belt, was put forth by a shop called greenbelts.

I'm Sorry Blogspot!

I'm sorry that I've been so MIA! Many fun and exciting things have been happening in my life and they have somewhat distracted me from my wonderful eco-crafty blog. These things include preparing for my upcoming wedding (this Saturday), going to festivals and concerts that completely rocked the socks right off of my feet, thinking of new and awesome ways to promote the EcoEtsy street team, writing tutorials that are featured in awesome blogs, working, and getting sick. Wait...I'm not quite sure how those last two got lumped into the category of fun and exciting. But in any event they have kept me from you, you wonderful little blog. And for that I apologize. I will try my best to do a feature or two before this weekend, but can promise nothing new until I return from matrimonial bliss on Monday or Tuesday of next week. That's just how it's gotta be.

And now, I leave you with this.

These give "tea lights" a whole new meaning...

Probably the most innovative use of vintage cups I've seen in quite a while. Being a huge fan of lighting in general, I'm tickled pink by this light fixture made of colorfully transparent vintage glasses!

This wallet really ties my outfit together...

Ridiculously cool. That's this wallet, made from a retro striped tie! This fabulous eco crafty idea was artfully devised and implemented by prixprix. Way to craft!

This "Suits" Me Just Fine

I've gotta give it up to mandinka for coming up with this rad scarf made of an old men's suit. The pockets on it are the tipping point for me. It's just WONDERFUL. I think any dude would totally dig this item, not to mention plenty pocket-obsessed gals like myself.
